Tree Survey Work Underway for Main Street Enhancements

0Comments

The Town of Hilton Head Island has hired a professional surveyor to obtain a survey of the Main Street corridor for future roadway enhancements.

Ribbons have been placed on trees within the corridor to mark those that have been surveyed. These trees are not marked for removal. The ribbons will be removed promptly once the survey process is completed. Additionally, the Town is in the process of acquiring road rights-of-way from the Main Street Property Owners Association. Once the road is transferred to the Town, pavement repairs will be made.
