Beaufort County Planning and Zoning Department will close on Thursdays at noon starting tomorrow August 11 and continue through September for staff training. The office will reopen for regular work hours the next morning on Friday at 8 a.m.

The dates the office will be closed are as follows:

• August Thursdays

  August 11

  August 18

  August 25

• September Thursdays

  September 1

  September 8

  September 15

  September 22

  September 29

This training is to implement new computer program that will begin the streamlining of internal procedures and payment collection allowing the department to better serve our citizens.
