New Bike Repair Stations Launch on Hilton Head Island

On the go and in need of a quick bike repair? Stop by one of Hilton Head Island's new bike repair stations!

The Town of Hilton Head Island set up the stations as a part of its initiative to enhance beach and recreational experiences for Island residents and visitors. These stations, which can be accessed at Chaplin Community Park, Coligny Beach Park, and Folly Field Beach Park, provide bike repair tools for quick fixes.

"We believe that these stations will help to provide peace of mind to riders knowing that essential repair tools are readily available," said Aaron Black, Facilities Manager for the Town.

At these stations, visitors will be able to place their bikes on stationary racks and use any of the bike tools provided to fix chains, tighten bike seats, and pump up their tires. All repair tools and air pumps are free to use at designated stations. "People can use stations at their own discretion as there is no attendant stationed at the parks to assist with repairs," Black said.
