Akhzghqbyrbsblsnaarkfgombu

City of Beaufort issued the following announcement on October 14.

BEAUFORT, S.C. (Oct. 14, 2021) –  Beginning Monday, Oct. 18, masks will no longer be required inside City of Beaufort buildings, with the exception of Municipal Court.

Municipal Court must follow the policy set forth by Chief Justice Donald Beaty of the South Carolina Supreme Court. He requires that anyone in courtrooms in the state wear a mask.

City Manager Bill Prokop said the city is encouraged by the decline in Covid cases in Beaufort County, and the increase in vaccination numbers. According to the SCDHEC vaccination dashboard, almost 60% of eligible Beaufort County residents are fully vaccinated and 70% have received at least one vaccination.
