Town of Hilton Head Island: Fire Rescue Responded to a Structure Fire at a Residential Building on Ceasar Place in Allenwood

Town of Hilton Head Island issued the following announcement on August 26.

Hilton Head Island Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire at a seven unit residential building on Ceasar Place in Allenwood at approximately 1:45 pm.

The initial report was for a fire on the second floor deck in the rear of one of the residential units. Upon arrival, the crews found the fire had spread to the interior of the home. They quickly went to work extinguishing the fire and contained it to the residence where it originated.

An occupant of the unit was home at the time of the fire and was able to evacuate themselves and their pets from the home. There were no injuries reported.

Four engine companies, the truck company, 1 medic unit, the Battalion Chief and additional Staff Officers responded to the fire.

The fire was under control at 2:12 pm.
