The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) has contracted with APAC-Atlantic, Inc. to resurface portions of William Hilton Parkway.
This work consists of milling and resurfacing asphalt pavement in two areas along William Hilton Parkway:
- From Gumtree Road to Whooping Crane Way and Indigo Run Drive.
- From Shelter Cove Lane near the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office to Yacht Cove Drive.
APAC began work on this $5.9 million, state-funded project in early December and expects to complete the work by June 2023. To limit interruptions to traffic, the work will occur at night. At least one lane of traffic will always remain open in each direction. Please use extra caution when travelling through the work zone.
