Outside the Beaufort Naval Hospital Grounds lies Naval Heritage Park under the shade of beautiful Live Oaks Trees.  The park is the setting for Port Royal’s popular Farmers’ Market, every Saturday morning. The only Skateboard Park North of the Board River is also located here along with a playground featuring a replica of a Spanish Galleon in the Playground area.

  • Features and Facilities – walking trail, covered skate park, playground, gazebo, picnic tables
  • Public Restrooms – Portable toilets only
  • Hours of Operation – Daylight, skate park open later
  • How to Get There – Off Ribaut Rd, in front of the Naval Hospital, look for the Spanish Galleon Playground. Parking lot is off of Pinckney Blvd.

Farmers Market – Saturday

Every Saturday from 9 AM-12 noon, rain or shine, Naval Heritage Park is host to a lively and varied Farmers Market.  You will find a wide variety of locally grown foods depending on the season.  Seafood, meats, eggs, vegetables, breads and pastries, pasta, and all sorts of other things to eat are here each week. Flowers, both cut and landscape ready, can be found with many other unique gifts and other services.
