Starting Monday, January 9, the Town of Hilton Head Island will be doing drainage maintenance work along the pathway near Squire Pope and Gumtree roads. Work will begin at 7 am and is expected to last for up to two weeks.
While this work occurs, the pathway will be closed north of Cotton Point Circle on Squire Pope Road and west of Georgia Court on Gumtree Road. Trucks will be in the area temporarily to drop off materials and equipment. No traffic delays are anticipated.
