Beaufort County issued the following announcement on December 10.

On Monday, December 13, beginning at 5:30 p.m., all County employees and the public are invited to attend the annual Christmas tree lighting in the Administration Courtyard. 

There will be an appearance by a special guest from the North Pole arriving in his sleigh, Christmas carol singing with The Harbor Masters, hot chocolate, cider and cookies as well as two food trucks: Time To Eat and Gullah Express.

The trucks will be set up and ready to serve by 5 p.m. and will be available throughout the event.
