Beaufort County issued the following announcement on January 21.

Beaufort County Council Member York Glover (District 3) is hosting a community event at 6 p.m., Tuesday, January 25, at St. Helena Branch Library (map).

This event will promote education and job skill development needed for employment with the new businesses coming to Commerce Park.  

Guests speakers include:

John O’Toole, Executive Director, Beaufort County Economic Development Corporation

Karen Gilbert, Director of CATE (Career and Technical Education), Beaufort County School District

Mary Lee Carnes, Vice President for Institute Advancement & External Relations, Technical College of the Lowcountry

Residents do not need to register in advance for the meeting.
