Beaufort County: Beaufort County Council to Take Council Meetings on the Road

Beaufort County issued the following announcement on February 9.

Beaufort County Council announced today that seven council meetings would be held in various locations around the County starting this month on Hilton Head Island.

“This council must stay connected to the citizens it serves,” said Joe Passiment, Chairman of the Beaufort County Council. “By taking the Council to locations around the County, it will help us better understand all the citizens’ concerns.”

All meetings will continue to be broadcast on The County Channel.

FIRST CITIZEN COMMENTS – (ANYONE who wishes to speak during the Citizen Comment portion of the meeting will limit their comments to no longer than three (3) minutes ( a total of 15 minutes ) and will address Council in a respectful manner appropriate to the decorum of the meeting, refraining from the use of profane, abusive, or obscene language)
